no product on the market will bring your deck back it can only give maybe a few more years if it's been neglected for to long

Thank you for your comments. We would be happy with a few years. The restore types products are supposed to fill in the small cracks - we replaced the bad boards. I have just read of horrible review of a similar Pittsburgh and Rustoleum product- With peeling after a few months. Cabot stains are supposed to be good so thought their other products may be also. Cant find any online reviews.

the reason those products peel are because the old finish needs to be removed 100% those products are so aggressive that they lift the old finish.

Deck correct is a very good product. We used it on our deck that gets 100% sunshine and pool water from the pool all summer long and has held up for 4 summers without chipping or peeling. Looks just as good now as it did when it was first put on.

does this leave a bumpy textured surface or is it smooth? application by roller only?

it is NOT dirt resistant! I have to clean mine daily and it does not clean well. It is getting stained. Buy are dark shade if you insist on using this product.
