And if they are right Wyatt Russell should be heading for the top as he looked a perfect mixture of father Kurt and mother Goldie Hawn in Utah at the weekend.
The resemblence was startling as the 27-year-old sat next to the Hollywood golden couple as they attended a dinner party celebrating their boy's latest film Cold In July at the Sundance Film Festival.

Kurt and Goldie, 68, beamed with pride as they sat next Wyatt, who branched out into acting after a failed professional ice hockey career.
His 62-year-old father, who starred in hits including Big Trouble In Little China, looked good in a blue shirt, jeans and T-shirt.
Banger Sisters star Goldie meanwhile seemed younger than her years in a simple black dress.
And it seems she was working the room with her boy in tow, as they posed together with her fellow 80s favourite and his Cold In July co-star Don Johnson.

The genre film is an adaptation of a 1989 crime novel by writer Joe R. Lansdale.
It follows what happens when Michael C Hall's character Richard Dane, shoots and kills a burglar in his home.
The burglar’s ex-convict father Ben Russell, played by Sam Shepard, comes after him until they realise they are being deceived about what is really going on.
Since his hockey career came to an end Wyatt has appeared in a spate of films including Cowboys & Aliens, This Is 40, Love and Honor and We Are What We Are, and is also in the cast of forthcoming comedy sequel 22 Jump Street.
