      Poor customer care. Told to call if I had issues after visit. When I called I got the cold shoulder.

      Patient BEWARE......
      Their LASIK procedure never corrected Astigmatism.
      Even with to follow ups and correction procedures at almost $100 each.
      Very disappointed as this was a gift from my Radio Broadcast Employer, otherwise would have been a huge waste of hard earned money
      Debating a 4th trip that could cost my eyesight

      I loved meeting Dr. Kim on my first visit to ICON. I loved her intelligence, depth of knowledge, expertise, and upbeat nature. I really wanted her to perform my cataract surgery. However, my experience with the clinic was very disappointing. It's extremely difficult, if not impossible, get get a live person on the phone to check the status of your case. Their office seems to run like a production line, and apparently patients cannot interfere with that process. They needed clearance from my cardiologist as I have a pacemaker. The first one they rejected. The second clearance contained around 20 pages. ICON never responded to that, and after 3 weeks, I have not received an update on my my case or have been scheduled for surgery. This completely undermines my trust in ICON, and will not try to work with them anymore. Their marketing byline is "You are at the Center of Excellence". I felt that I was at the Center of Negligence.

      I had an absolutely amazing experience at Icon for my Lasik surgery. From consultation to procedure everyone was welcoming and reassuring for a pretty nerve wrecking procedure. I was so nervous but after all was done I would go back once a year if it meant having the vision I do now. Dr.H was my surgeon and he was so knowledgeable - he made the experience very easy. I felt absolutely no pain and everything they told me would happen did. I could cry I love my Lasik so much.

      I visited ICON Eyecare yesterday for the first time.I have a long history of vision problems and eye surgeries and have had some very negative experiences. I was nervous about the appointment and was very anxious about what I might be told. EVERYONE was super professional...the front staff were friendly and professional, the tech was thorough and patient and it was evident that they were both well trained. I then met a medical school intern who examined me before the doctor. He was wonderful and he will be an asset wherever he settles. Dr. Martin was beyond amazing. He listened, answered all of my questions and was extremely re assuring. Most of my fears were unfounded and he was sure to put them all to rest. I cannot recommend this team enough. They are professional and extremely competent.

      Extremely disappointed they make an appointment for me for 1pm and then have me waiting 30 minutes in the lobby with no follow up even after I ask what number I am as I continue to see other patients that came after me walk in to their appointment. Terrible customer service. And I can clearly understand every Spanish word the receptionists are saying in the back. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized.

      So we're in the process of trying to get a procedure done but if you call this office they put you on hold they don't get back to you they hang up on you they can't direct your call and then complete a call -it's like you're $7000 you're going to pay for this procedure is not important to them -they are so disorganized at the front desk it's ridiculous yet they want you to pay all this kind of money and you have to trust him with your eyes

      These people are completely lost. I had three eye exams and made it to the operating room, then they realized they didn't understand my prescription. They decided to test my prescription by sending me some contacts before going forth with the procedure. I appreciated their cautious attitude, but then the contacts were not mailed to me. I had to call three times to get them to send me the contacts (mind you, I had already paid them 4k for the procedure) because they blew me off the first two times. Several weeks later, a pair of glasses (not contacts) arrived in the mail from Icon. They came in an envelope with no wrapping or protection and were so bent and crooked that I couldn't even tell whether they were the correct prescription. Can you believe that I almost let these people take a laser to my eyeballs?

      I wish I was leaving a good review, but unfortunately I can not. I was very hopeful that I would have good results, but I have been left with horrible vision since I had surgery. Three surgeries to be correct. I was told I needed PRK since I have astigmatism. After the first surgery I was left completely unable to make anything out clearly past 12"-18" form my face and that wasn't even clear. Each time I went back I was told it would take longer for the healing to take place. This went on through 3 surgeries. It started at two months of recovery and the last time I was told how long it would take was up to 2 years. I have been left with double vision in both eyes. Each eye is different so I see everything at least tripled with both eyes open and it gets worse at night where anything that is lit up turns into a star field with streaks everywhere. Now that it has been a few years it is only getting worse as I have headaches and pain in my eyes from trying to focus. When I'm sick it is horrible as I'm in constant pain and my ability to see is gone, everything is a mess and my head and eyes hurt. The last surgery I had they told me that there may not be enough lens left to do another surgery. I tried contacting them after the third one to let them know that I still had double vision, but no one replied to me. I wish I had never done it now.

      Absolutely phenomenal staff and team of doctors; I highly recommend Dr. Kim as she is incredibly kind, caring, professional, and well educated. A month ago I thought I would never be a candidate for corrective eye surgery to improve my vision. I was informed about the ICL procedure which is ideal for patients who aren't good candidates for LASIK or PRK.

      The process was easy and relatively pain free, which surprised me and looking back I wish I wasn't as anxious and nervous for the procedures. Dr. Kim did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable and was exuding a warm caring professional demeanor. The laser procedure was quick and not nearly as scary as I thought it was. Going in for the actual lens to be put in was nerve wracking but again the staff was there to make sure I felt comfortable. I didn't feel any pain or see what was going on during the surgery which were my biggest concerns. When I expressed slight discomfort the anesthesiologist was there to administer more drugs to keep me comfortable.

      Healing was very easy and pain free, at times I almost forgot that I had surgery and had to stop myself from lifting things. I was able to see clearly fairly quickly after surgery but Dr. Kim said I was ahead of the curve. I am beyond pleased with the outcome of my surgery and I'm waiting for it to sink in that I can see clearly without contacts or glasses for the first time in almost 20 years.

      The staff have been nothing but professional and kind during COVID and taking extra steps to ensure everything is sanitized.
